Cookies
A short page, because there isn't much to say. We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, only if you agree, analytics and one advertising pixel. Nothing in either group loads until you say yes.
Essential
Two things are stored on your device whatever you choose. Your cookie choice itself, so that we don't ask again on every page, and a short-lived token used by Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a person from a robot when you send us an enquiry. Neither identifies you, and the law doesn't require consent for them.
Analytics
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people find useful, how they arrived and roughly which country they're in. Google sets its own cookies to do this. We haven't linked Google Analytics to any advertising account, and the data is kept for 14 months. Floot, which hosts the site, also counts page views; until you accept, it keeps nothing on your device.
Advertising
If you accept, we also load the Meta pixel, which tells Meta that you visited and which pages you saw. We use it for one thing: to see whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram is working, and to reach people like our existing audience. It means Meta can match your visit to your account if you have one, and Meta holds that data under its own retention rules rather than ours.
We don't sell your information, we don't let other organisations advertise to you through this site, and we don't use the pixel on anything to do with health, beliefs or anything else sensitive.
If you decline, nothing from Google or Meta loads at all, and anything already stored is removed. Declining costs you nothing on this site: every page works the same either way.
Video
Videos on the site show a still image until you press play. Nothing reaches YouTube until you do, and when you do, YouTube's own privacy notice applies. We use youtube-nocookie.com, which sets no cookies until playback starts.
